Pdoc visit and concern for meds dose

Went to my pdoc again yesterday and she’s glad I did better this week on 200mg quetiapine. Now she said she wants to increase it to 300mg and reduce my amisulpride from 200mg (which is my known minimum dose) to 150mg. She confirmed I have schizoaffective disorder and says I’m not likely to have borderline personality like my previous pdoc thought. She says my self harm is more linked to psychosis than abandonment issues (which I don’t really have a lot).

I also had a blood test for prolactin and will see my pdoc in two weeks time again.

Afterwards at pharmacy I saw she had written 200mg quetiapine instead of 300mg which I clearly heard her say. I don’t know if I misunderstood her or if she made a mistake but I’m worried because I’m lowering a med and not raising the other. Hope I’ll be fine these next two weeks!

Sounds like you need to ring her to get her to confirm or deny that she made a mistake…

Yes call her up and confirm it @Hadeda

I agree.
I don’t think you need to be the one to worry in that situation @Hadeda .

Unfortunately she’s only accessible on Tuesdays, whether by appointment or phone. I have to call the outpatients dept and they pass message on to her when she comes in. And she only does on Tuesdays

oh i would try to get in contact with her also… it’s annoying that you can only contact her on tuesdays though…
