Can meds control paranoid symptoms completely. The most paranoid I do get is this person doesn’t like me… That’s it. I struggled to understand how I would have the paranoid subtype. I don’t get paranoid often either but I feel it’s my lack of self esteem.
Yes antipsychotics can help with paranoia. I get really bad paranoid and my magic medication was Loxapine however it caused me really bad TD. Geodon has also helped me
I don’t think they do the subtyping anymore in DSM 5. Consider yourself free.
I think they do in icd but I get your point.
Moving to Medications.
of course medications can control your paranoia (delusions).i take lurasidone+amisulpride+Levetiracetam+green coffee these drugs work well in reducing my delusions .it didnt disappear though.it has been 5 years now since i was in psychiatry hospital. these drugs keep me stable and out from getting in the ward.
Of course i am sz paranoid also and abilify 400 maintena help me.
I use abilify , small dose every 4 months for paranoid thoughts and feelings
Yeah I’m on Abilify too.
Oh great. At high doses it made me anxious, but small doses work fine
Yes med AP meds can help paranoia. Zyprexa med helps me. I just got a 5mg increase and now I take in the AM too. It doesn’t completely take it away but it helps. Good vibes to you. @Ish
Yeah I noticed that too. I’m gonna ask to go down to 5. I’m on 10.
Yea but I take risperidone as well. I’m not sure low dose abilify is ok by itself though.
I’m sure you know what your doing
