Mine is 148 now, one person in 1,500. I’ve done a lot of brain training during the past 4 years.
A valid test is at this link. There’s a 10 dollar fee though.

I don’t think paranoid sz have higher iq than normies, but they are surely more functional than the other schizophrenics.
Psychosis is the most prominent symptom of paranoid sz.
I’d like to get mine tested. When I was a kid I was above average.
When I was 7, they tested my intelligence, and I freaked everyone out by getting a perfect score. What they didn’t know was that I cheated. It was one of the original scantron papers, and I realized the lines on the barcode were in slightly different positions for each question, corresponding to the correct letter. So after answering like five questions the right way, I just read the barcode and filled it in. I suppose that also takes a kind of intelligence, because none of my classmates figured it out.
Not just here but on forums generally I tend to be sceptical when people talk about IQ scores. The number of people who claim they have IQs of 140-150+ would tend to suggest that there are a high percentage of people with very/extremely high IQs but this is obviously not true.
Just for fun I’ll do a poll of people with paranoid schizophrenia.

I am paranoid sz, my verbal intelligence is not as good as my mathematical intelligence, my emotional intelligence is high, so I think it all depends.
Last time i checked my iq was 156. But i dont go on numbers. I still lack basic social skills.
I was diagnosed as paranoid schizophrenic and not much of anything goes over my head.
It’s just a correlation not causation. Based on the complexity of a schizophrenic delerium it is true that I don’t think most people can retain that bulk-load in their heads. Psychotic scenarios often contain details that rival real-life information… The brain begins to lose sight of how to differentiate.
As @naturallycured indicates though… paranoid schizophrenia takes a helluva toll on cognition.
I had to work on a lot of little sub-capacities to get even an approximate of my faculties back… and I was still just naturally better at most stuff like math back when I was 20.
I dunno my iq but yes there are some very smart peeps on this forum.
Sneaky genius at being a sneaky ninja.
I was in top sets at school but a big fish in a little pond. Once I went to uni I barely passed my degree. I am boringly average it seems life has taught me.
When I was young I was extremely bright. That’s just the truth. I only graduated high school because, after missing most of it by staying home, I could catch up easily. Math was the only thing I couldn’t do well, but I did just well enough to pass. Now, my memory is shot and it’s hard for me to stay focused.
My son was always ahead of his peers in every subject. He’s brilliant. The only thing holding him back is sz.
Wisdom is more important then intelligence in my opinion. I was tested while very psychotic they gave me 120 but I didn’t believe the psychologist and sometimes think he was lying to me and I had a lower score in reality
Iq doesn’t really mean much. It’s what you do with what you got in the real world
going from my experience in this forum, most people are very smart.
smarter than i, but that ain’t saying much
Never underestimate kids. When I was like 9 or 10 I was in this club, and we had to complete these books by memorising verses or completing tasks.
You had to get a signature for each task or memorisation by a leader or from a parent at home. You would get fake money to spend to buy toys or candy at their fun store.
Soo I figured out I could just forge my dad’s signature on the whole book. So I got a lot of fake money’s
I even got an award, and the leader told everyone at a meeting how he was so impressed.
Oh man did I feel a little guilty about that
