Does anyone else deal with severe muscle stiffness? My shoulders arms and legs are always tense. Don’t know if it’s sz, trauma or meds but it’s perpetual. I’ve tried a lot of things for it. PMR, yoga, somatic work. Still. Always tense.

When I had voices I was constantly incredibly tense.
It was physically painful and uncomfortable.
Now i still get tense and uncomfortable but nowhere near what it was back then thankfully.

Muscle relaxers could help but they are addictive.

When I was in the hospital they put me on an old AP (Prolixen) that caused all my muscles to feel really tight…cogentin helped with that.

Higher dose of the invega I’m on caused joint stiffness badly. I could hardly pick anything up.
The lower dose made it almost go away so I know the meds can do it.

I have stiff muscles from Abilify.

Im always tense from making scar tissue/arthritis. It would keep me awake without meds.
I had tension and muscle aches from Risperidone (and a bad diet), that went away after I switched to brexpiprazole.
