Does anybody else suffer from this? I won’t be seeing my doctor for another 3 months but It’s not urgent anyway. Just wondering how others deal with this.

I had severe muscle stiffness with Risperdal. I switched to Seroquel and it went away. Do you take Risperdal?

No, abilify. This is a recent development. It’s worse in the morning when I get up, then it’s not so bad.

I would continue the Abilify until you see your doctor (unless it gets much worse), for Abilify may not be the cause of the muscle stiffness.
Hopefully the muscle stiffness goes away on its own.

My muscles have been a bit sore lately but not really so stiff - not yet.
Let me take it back.
I can get stiff muscles after getting up from sleeping for a while.
For me it could just be old age

It seems many things can cause muscle stiffness. When I used to live in the Northern part of the U.S. I would get muscle stiffness this time of the year. Like I said, it seems many things can cause muscle stiffness.

I’m always sore all over, I work hard so not sure where it comes from

Yes, it’s really bad in the morning when I get up. I doubt it’s old age in your case 
, probably just the AP.

Yeah I guess I’m not that old.
It most likely is the Risperidone, that and the fact that I gained some weight maybe.
