It’s great that you had a holiday. I’d love to just go away for a week , somewhere by the beach though. You’ve got me thinking now … But the reason I haven’t gone yet is I’d probably just spend all my time in the hotel room.
Thanks @everhopeful, I liked staying in the room the best.
I really surprised myself by going into the casino but the experience was way too stimulating.
I barely made it.
I couldn’t play at the tables though - too fast paced.
All I could manage was playing at easy simple slot machines and even then I had a hard time.
I walk past all the flashing and buzzing to the card room. I love Texas hold 'em tournaments. I placed 7th and 11th out of 120+ players my last visit. Hotel got most of the money 'cause I’m scared of bedbugs at the cheaper ones.
That sounds really good! I have never been to a casino before. I used to play a lot of poker at the local pub and I used to always reach the last table and come either 1st or 2nd and win money. This was before I was ill, but I guess maybe a bit of flat effect gave me an unfair advantage is my only guess as to why I was so good at it with bluffing etc.
I like casinos. My GF used to take me to Vegas every once in a while.
I played the nickel slots mostly, only won a few bucks a couple of times.
But I enjoyed the drinking and people-watching.
I went to a casino with my gf recently, I got so stressed that people were messing with me that we got in a big fight. I was calmer than I thought I would be, though (for most of the time).
You know what’s funny, I just love casinos and could go in and stay for days and says and never eat or sleep and just play the slots forever. I love it so much! I win all the time but hardly ever bring any money home because I play until I can’t play anymore. If I get a huge jackpot I usually leave but that few and far between. So if I hit a grand maybe I’ll go home with it. I’ve probably won $35 grand but spent $40 grand to get it. Oh ■■■■ that’s the life of a gamblaholic I guess.
