Have any of you ever had a over the phone doctor visits? It’s raining here but this is a first.
I often do video visits with my doctors. I have used my phone, but I prefer to use my laptop.
lol yes. It’s not the same is it x
I think video visits save a lot of time and energy. Especially if it’s usually a long drive to see that provider.
I’ve never done it before. Ok. I thought maybe they didn’t like me or something.
Yes, phone visits are common now, especially with Covid
No, I’m sure they like you!
Is your visit a phone call or a video call? If it’s a video call, you could ask the staff how you do it, like if you need to download an app to your phone or something.
I think they do like you.
I’m sure there is a reason for it.
You could even ask them.
Good luck with the appointment Roxanna
I only go into the office for bloodwork.
It went well. Looking forward to seeing my pdoc again.
I do my appointment’s over the TV
Yeah, telemedicine is here to stay and will only increase in popularity. Psychiatry is probably one of the better suited for telehealth. Teledentistry doesn’t work so well.
I do my psych appointments over the phone too @roxanna . So much easier!
How on the TV? Your TV has a webcam?
My old doctor did over the phone i didnt like it because i couldnt see her. My new doc does video calls
It is through telehealth.
I’ve done phone visits and video visits. They’re fine, saves time and hassle.
