I have to pick all 47 pounds of her up and carry her in the house just now…a dog I am feeding was by the fence when she was in the backyard…sheesh…anyways…she is so viciuos…I wish she would change but she is just out of control when this happens.

You need to muzzle her whenever she is outside.

I agree. You also need to put money aside to hire a trainer. This is very important. It is essential. Otherwise, please be responsible, and find a no kill dog rescue to take the dog in and let them know the problem. If you do, they will take the dog and get it the re-training it needs

Definitely don’t pick her up when she is aggressive. She is at risk for turning on you and could easily reach your throat. Leash her and pull her close to you, making her sit until she is calm.

My advice is to just get rid of the dog. Lots of incidents like this happening in my area:
She’s suing the dog owners and they’re going to be destitute when she is done. You don’t need grief like this.

oh no, we won’t get rid of her…she is always in the house most of the time, it’s just when other dogs get close to the fence…it’s manageable…no money for a trainer…it’s our larger dog, not the chihuahua.
