I am dumbfounded by the effrontery of people who think they are just entitled to determine what kind of life I should lead. My life is none of their business!!! Those very same people would be livid if someone tried to do to them what they’re trying to do to me.

dont allow people to do that you have a right to think and do as you want as long as it doesnt involve hurting anyone else (or yourself) you can think or act as strange as you want and its important not just for yourself but for other people who are non conventional that people are put back in their place check and balance only works when we make it work

I have six older siblings who have ALWAYS thought they have a right to critique and criticize me and my life. It’s like carrying monkies around on my shoulders when I let it get to me. They contributed greatly to my feeling like crap about myself. Fairly recently (I’m 49) I started looking more closely and critically at them, and I believe that the most judgmental are the ones least satisfied with their own lives.

my in laws are the same way, they had me walk all over yesterday because they said it would be good for me to get out. I agree its good to get out but not to walk through every aisle at Lowes. My ankle was so swollen. Anyway my in laws try to tell me how to live and so do my parents. They both say I need to cut the other out of my life.
