Oral or Injection?

Hey spokety here. I was wondering if anyone had some experiences with injection anti-psychotics and how they fair in comparison to oral ones. I’m thinking about trying it. I tried it once a long time ago when I first got hospitalized. Thanks.

I’m forced to take injections of Flupentixol (under CTO).

I hate them personally, however others may like them particularly if you don’t like remembering to take pills every day.

I take both I really hate the injections though they make my arm sore

When i was on court-ordered treatment i was on the Abilify and Haldol injections. Now I’m on oral meds. I prefer oral meds because i get to choose what meds i take and if i want to change meds I’m not stuck with something that’s gonna stay in my system for a month or longer. That said, i have no issues with forgetting to take my meds or noncompliance.

Oral. I’m not a fan of needles.

I much prefer an injection. I hate taking pills. I want as little pills as possible. Also I’ve been more stable on injection by far. Probably cos I don’t forget to take it. Or get a stupid thought to quit medication.

I like my Invega but to each their own

i like invega sustenna. seems to have less side effects than the pills probably cause the dose is more leveled out
