Guys, who treats their negative and positive symptoms with what, I need some kind of summery
Exercise. Can cost you very little but pays back…trouble is starting and maintaining but some routine is very good for sz. If you do exercise reguarly it does help. For the positives meds.
Negative symptoms
… Pilates, plenty of water, healthy eating, mindfulness, minimal medication and dosage under psychiatrist’s supervision.
Positive symptoms
… Initial medication of antipsychotic, no other medications such as antidepressants, cbt with an open communication and WILLINGNESS to learn, all the above.
They both mix together and are interconnected.
@karma doubt you’re still awake but. I’n my experience I can’t figure out what helps them. When I was first diagnosed with effing 5 disorders I couldn’t get past it. And now my meds are making me in pain. Idk I hope you find a way to deal with it better than me
Negative symptoms anyway. I get a injection that really helps with positive symptoms. But they hurt my body
I really like the fact you included willingness to learn… I study things about the brain everyday and also keep a very close uhh eye? On how I act or just the way I feel. Things can start to make sense when you understand it. But that don’t help the negatives for me😢
What medications are you on?
I no longer have major negatives
Since what moment?
It must be almost a year now
My advice would be to make a list of all treatments and do them all. It’s not about one thing curing it all, it’s about doing a bunch of small things.
Eating healthy alone will not cure you
Exercise alone will not cure you
A supplement alone will not cure you
Meds alone will not cure you
Therapy alone will not cure you
Socializing alone will not cure you
But together they make a strong army
100 pennies makes a dollar
Sorry I had to do something I get injections of abilify amoung like 10 other meds don’t wanna type them all out lol @karma sorry for the late answer
May I ask why you’re wondering?
Depends on the definition of negative symptoms, for some its just going out of bed and for some its working 40+h/week etc
