we are planning to go to arizona in october, to visit my brother, no other trips planned, but odds are i will go for a hiking trip somewhere before then. i have no itch to go anywhere right now. just enjoying the summer right now. mom has a couple trips planned though, one a bicycling trip and another a backpacking trip. but im not invited haha.

i rarely leave city limits haha. i only leave town to get groceries and to get my meds. i start to forget the street names in my hometown where i grew up after 5 years away from there. i only go back there for my meds once every 3 months even though it’s only 13 miles away.

its kinda a pain when we go west because i don’t fly and it takes 2 or 3 days to get where we’re going. if they fly i will choose not to go to arizona in october. haven’t seen my brother’s house yet, supposedly it’s nice, in a little neighborhood with million dollar homes. haven’t been to arizona since the time i slept on the streets 10 years ago.

i flew from portland oregon to phoenix, arizona 10 years ago. leaving my vehicle in long term parking at the portland airport. i had no intention of going back for that car but was going to start a new life in the desert. dad picked me up and made me go back for the car haha. i sold it a few years later and now don’t have a car. back in the midwest with a roof over my head now. a lot has changed since then.
