One of the strongest dudes on the planet does 71 push ups

71 push ups is pretty good. The more weight you have the harder it is to do them. In the Navy every so often you have to do a physical fitness test. You get 2 minutes to do as many push as you can. The same with sit ups. Although I heard the military might be phasing out sit ups.

I used to be able to do like 150 in a row.

Granted I was off meds meaning more energy, strength, motivation and less weight.

Now I can do maybe 25

The most push ups I’ve seen in person in a 2 minute span is either high 90’s or low 100’s. I can’t remember or sure. :eagle::eagle::eagle:

IDK. They gave us 30 seconds in high school to do as many sit-ups as we could. We got tested once a year including doing push-ups. But they also had us climb a rope attached to the ceiling of the gym. They had us climb the rope, touch the ceiling then slide back down. For the sit-ups, you would get a friend to put both knees on your feet as you did them so your feet didn’t rise as you went up.

I grew up playing sports most of my childhood but I wasn’t a natural athlete. I had fun playing football, basketball, baseball etc with my friends and people in the neighborhood. But I had to try just a little harder than my friends.

I hated these yearly tests.

I did not like the tests at school.

When I did physical education in school I always assumed we’d climb a rope eventually because it was referenced so often on TV. Maybe some people got hurt and they just don’t do it anymore.

I would believe that. I never saw anyone fall but it was a real possibility and if someone fell at the top, they could’ve seriously injured themselves. It was a weird school, they also had us do pole vaulting. Shot putting isn’t that weird, we did that too.

Back in HS when I weighed less I could do a lot of push ups. Now I can probably do 20-30 max. Sad

He looks really fit. This is impressive if he doesn’t take steroids or strange supplements
