I’ve known her for almost 27 years.
We’re having brunch tomorrow. We usually get together once a month, but I wasn’t available last month so it’s been a while.
Anyway, she’s aging and won’t be here forever and that makes me really sad.

But you’re smart and spending time with her while you can. Some people miss that finite part of things and end up losing memories they could have made with special people because they don’t find the time to visit.
True. I’m going to ask her if we can have our picture taken together. I can keep it for when she’s gone.
If she’s like my great-grandmother, she could live another 20 years! Don’t count her out yet.
my mom is 80 and I am ever mindful that there isn’t much more time to spend with her…I hope another 20 years…you just never know.
