“Life isn’t fair”. I hate it when people try to feed you that line of ■■■■, because basically it means that they’re just going to continue to take unfair advantage of you, or look the other way when someone else is. Maybe life isn’t fair, but there are certain laws that we have to follow to make like livable.

But … Life isn’t fair. Sometimes you’re on the “right” side of that unfairness though. Sometimes you’re not.

You’re absolutely right, but there would be a lot less unfairness if people took responsibility and stood up for what was right, because if you don’t do that you get some very angry people, and it increases and perpetuates the cycle of unfairness.
