Christmas is upon us. There’s a lot of posts about it. That’s fine, as long as religion is left out of it.
The holiday has origins that are rooted in ancient celebrations not related to Christianity, so it’s pretty easy to discuss trees, decorations, meals, presents, and spending time with friends and family.
So trying to say that it is all about one religion is not onlÿ not allowed here, it’s also factually incorrect.
For those that would like to learn more about the origins of the holiday, here’s a link.
I have my personal set of beliefs, but never, ever, thought my beliefs or my life is better than anyone else. We’re all on this life journey and we all deal with it in our own ways. I’m glad @anon4362788 posed the link. We should wish each other well always and not shame others for their differences.
I agree @anon4362788 I needed to be educated before too. But I learned a few years back about Christmas and other December celebrations around the world.
christmas means more to me than trees and hats and presents, I like everything about it and i dont know why we need to think the way you want us to think about it because I should be able to make up my own mind about how i want to think about it
