I will agree, using ignorant blanket terms like “crazy” like the NRA rep is totally unacceptable and I’m hoping news media will call that out on her and her sponsor. Someone needs to discuss the issue of dealing with mental illness with clarity and education, not just stuff that perpetuates ignorance and reinforces prejudice and stereotypes.
And I’m also proud of the kids who are leading the battle, although it’s sad they are the ones who have to do it.
