I think inner cities use slang a lot more and have accents.
So many of our people came to the United States from England so you’d think we’d have the same dialect of English. But we don’t.
I watch this Australian show called Wentworth. They say “Eh?” a lot. I find myself saying it now a lot. It irritates my dad a little.

Where I live people still say “git r done” lol, I also hear “same crap different day” and “it is what it is” a lot.

I used to say “bless your heart” but then a few people told me it was an insult and I stopped. I meant it sincerely, but I didn’t want to give anyone the wrong idea.
You poor thing. I wouldn’t worry about it. “Bless your heart” means you’re being empathetic. Kindness never is a bad thing.
