Ok so dental work and a pair of glasses

Are not going to be cheap. I have $2000 set aside for that. But I really want to buy 4 camping chairs $48 for all four. We love summer fires but our old chairs fell apart. I’m so wanting them but can’t make up my mind if I should spend the money.

What would you do?

You should take care of the necessities first. :unicorn::unicorn::unicorn:

Don’t ask me - I tend to lean toward shopaholic-ism

I would buy the chairs and make up for the cost in other places.

The chairs seem to be important to you.

Look after what you’ve saved for first. If you have some left over then get the chairs!

It just means more outside time with the kids

Thst’s valuable. What kind of fires? A fond.memory from childhood - on nights with a full moon we went sledding at a nearby park with huge fires in oil drums to warm.us up

I’m not allowed large fires where I live but I have a fire bowl on my yard. And occasionally we go to the small lake nearby and have a beach and fire day there.

If the dental work and eye glasses are enough in the future, buy the chairs and replace the money later. $48.00 doesn’t seem like a lot of money. If you bought the chairs how long would it take to replace it?

Do stores still do lay-a-way? I haven’t even heard the term used in over twenty years but it’s how I used to buy things I wanted when money was tight.
