I planned on buying something specific with the yard sale money. A new gliding rocking chair- mainly in case we have another baby and we move…. BUT, I can feel this money burning a hole in my pocket and I know if I don’t buy this rocking chair now, I’m just gonna buy dumb stuff.
My mom and husband told me to wait on the rocking chair, but idk……
What do y’all think?
Buy the rocking chair now or else I’m just gonna spend all the money
Give the money to my husband or mom to hold onto so I don’t spend it and get the rocking chair later…… (even tho I don’t like the idea of giving either of them the money)
I’d spend it on something you need now. Like not on a chair as you said you don’t need it right now. Or, I would use a special box, label it Rainy Day and put the money in it out of sight so you won’t think about it. I guarantee in the next week, you’ll see something you really want.
I mean, I would not say the chair, because you might not move and have another baby. I’m just saying at the moment it’s not necessary. So I’d get something else. But that’s just a personal thought. I hope whatever you decide on, that you will
I started a savings account for the first time in my life I think a few months ago. I been putting 50-100$ a month in it no matter what. Even before paying bills.
It’s an emergency fund. But one day could also be a want something nice fund.
