My neighbour dropped by three days ago to give me some pasta. She seemed happy then, but obviously appearances can be deceptive.

Several police cars showed up outside my apartment about a week ago. They arrested a neighbor who is bipolar. He was with his dog, as usual. The dog was not arrested.

But I saw him walking his dog again today, so I guess he is doing OK.

That is a good point. Do you reckon the police would show up too if my neighbour was in a bad way?

The ambulance has just left with no patient onboard.

Oh no spoke too soon. They were just moving the ambulance so they can get a person in. They are parked like 1 metre from my window and their lights are really scary.

That’s scary @anon35166066. Whenever the fire, ambulance or police show up in my neighborhood, it makes me very uneasy. I usually go outside to see what’s happening. Usually it’s a medical call.

Went to check on my neighbour who has MI. She is fine! She thinks the ambulance was for the other neighbour. She has kids, and her husband is a doctor, so that is concerning. It must be bad if a doctor calls an ambulance.

My neighbour said the ambulance didn’t take anyone away though. Will give my neighbour some space for a few days then offer my help if I can.
