Obsessed with white noise

A normal person would listen to music while driving.
I listen to the white noise on the radio.

I’m obsessed with it.
I decipher the code of white noises.

Do you hear voices though it?

Yes sometimes. But even without voices, it’s a very pleasant sound, I mean the noise.

When I was a kid I was scared to the extreme of white noise. Now, though, I’m less scared. I always thought it was communication to spies. I guess those childhood thoughts are kinda like psychosis.

Off and on, but it’s good to see you again. I hope I can be more consistent on this site.

I hear voices in white noise, it’s very triggering for me. I don’t like it.

I’ve had a rough few weeks, but other than that I’m doing extremely well. I don’t even see my therapist anymore because I’m doing so well. How are you doing?

If you go to YouTube there’s white noise, pink noise, all kinds of noises, also if you have a pair of earbuds look up binaural beats.

I’m obsessed with the fan running in my room.

I’m very sensitive to sound and I have a hard time concentrating when I’m over stimulated, so the fan helps me ground myself when people downstairs are talking, cars driving outside, raining, etc.

I can’t stand the sounds of fans or white noise. I try to eliminate them when I can. Unfortunately, its quite cold here, we require the heating to be on. Just a note, while in psychosis I turned off all machines, unplugged them and removed their batteries. That humming still wouldn’t stop.
