NSI-189 for cognitive impairment associated with schizophrenia?

hello what do you know about NSI-189?
Does it cure schizophrenia induced cognitive impairment and damage.
I first saw this just now in Sagar Gorijala’s post, that’s @anon93437440

I think they are still working on that!

@Chess24 if you are looking for something that has actually been proven to have an effect in clinical trials, try sarcosine or sodium benzoate, both of which you can get on the internet.

NSI 189 hasn’t been proven to do anything for cognition. It’s interesting, and warrants further study, but it hasn’t met endpoints in recent trials.

thank you @twinklestars I love you dearly, you are a dear friend.
I had a thought, that you reinforced:
I should try sarcosine and sodium benzoate.
It will take time to get them, but these are things with real potential to help me.
Olanzapine is supposed to help, particularly with positive symptoms and indeed it helps me.
Perhaps the adjunctive treatments that are supposed to help will help me, additionally, as well.

You may want to try these things separately, I do not think they have been studied together, and in any case it would be easier to know which was working if you tried them one at a time.

There are ads on this site for a reputable brand of sarcosine.

I can tell you this about NSI-189…

I got it from suaway.com

before using it, I couldn’t watch television,

now my mood and awareness have improved and I’m not angry more often

and I finished 5 grams in lesser time while I actually am supposed to take 80 to 120 mg everyday

so I must say there is improvement

but the damage done by antipsychotics is too much to handle

@twinklestars they have been tried together.

How was your experience on Selegiline? Did it increase positive symptoms?

it works in the beginning by bettering the mood, later it doesn’t work as promised
