Now my lip is twitching

My thumb was twitching for a while, then it was my left thigh.
Now for the last couple of days my lip, especially my upper lip is twitching.

I will definitely bring it up to my psychiatrist because any kind of movement around the mouth area including the tongue or lips could mean Tardive Dyskinesia.

Just wondering if I should treat it as an Emergency and wondering whether I should call her today.

It’s not chronic, it happens on and off from time to time.

It was the weirdest thing when I read your post a while back about your thumb twitching. I remember thinking it was strange but then I noticed MY thumb was twitching. I don’t think it’s anything to be concerned with tho.

Vitamin D stopped my thumb twitching, and you have a vitamin D deficiency, so maybe it’s related to that. Possibly.

If you can give her a call today, then why not? It would put your mind at ease.

I take a Vitamin D supplement everyday.
Last time I had my Vitamin D levels checked it was Normal.

I’m not too worried about it.

I would call today, just to make sure. If it is TD, that needs to be treated right away!

my left hand has a mind of its own now. Involuntary tremmor. It looks like I’m possessed. I told my doctor and she said, it could be the latuda and then continued on with our session as though it was no big deal.
I think they know its bound to happen but I don’t think they address it unless it gets really noticeable because there isn’t much they can do. We need the meds more than we need our looks I guess. Ive seen a couple people with very noticeable TD and they were not taken off of their meds.
Go figure

I also get the thumb twitching from time to time. It alsways scares the ■■■■ out of me. If my lip or tongue should do the same I’d deffinately get hold of the pdoc as soon as possible. I truly hope that your lip twitching goes away by itself very soon. Strongs man. Keep up posted.
