All I do is stay on my phone and lay down I have no life, I think I use my phone as an escape from reality cause its just me in my house doing nothing

How well are your symptoms managed?
I was like this for a few years when I started meds. My dosage came down after that and I started feeling better.
I suppose hurry up and wait isn’t good advice. If you have improved you can ask your pdoc to come down one dosage on your meds?

I’m going to stop meds when I finish my box I already have doctors approval so that should fix my negative symptoms, that’s one thing

Good luck with your attempt to quit meds. Are you going to taper?
I’m okay with my life, but I sleep a lot with meds. Last night I slept from 10 pm till 11 am.

There not much else to do TV and the only place to go outside near me is the library
I´m on the opposite side of the spectrum. I crave days with some tranquility. Today is one of those chill days.
But I´m not happy with my life either. I was dreaming about going back to my dad´s place and do nothing. But it´s worse for my developement as a person, overall.

I just feel my life is boring
That has been the last year for me too - apart from walking the dog twice a day
My life has always been work before. Maybe something like a hobby might be a good idea?
I am going to be trying a job again, and it’s a 50/50 chance of success at best…
Gotta try things to see whether you can do them
Failure is worth it for a slim chance of success - no matter if it’s a job, volunteering, hobbies etc
Must say since I have had a dog things have been much better at home. Do you have any pets? Or could you get one if not?
Looking after animals is a nice thing. If you can give a good home, lots of them need us

After my surgery I plan to apply for a library job. But I’m concerned because I always get super paranoid when out of the house and end up having to quit my job due to being in the hospital. Seriously. It happens every time.
Can you find a hobby or special interest that keeps you busy sometimes?

Can you play cards? You could play games on the internet. Can you play other games? Thirty could keep you busy and get your mind off things
