I don’t know where you are based, but here the wait is 2-3 years

If it’s similar where you are, I’d try and think further ahead, in case you find yourself in work or study, as there is good supports in a lot of places with a diagnosis

Im the same as you, in the UK

I can’t see any point in going for a autism diagnosis as it wont change anything

The sensory issues i have, social issues and masking means i score high online tests but these could all be mental illness issues and i can’t distinguish whats what
Do you see my problem?
And im very unlikely to be able to work or study im very ill and rely on my husband

@anon29983254 hey. Maybe if you ever see a psychiatrist for your sz or whatever, just mention you are concerned you may have asd aswell. Maybe ask them their opinion of wether or not its mental illness stuff that has similarities to asd but actaully isnt? If that makes sense. I dont know, not much help sorry haha.
