Nobody who is feeling bad after taking his pill?

I am still surprised by the fact that nobody doesn’t feel bad after taking his pill… some of you even feel some kick, wow…me, its the opposite- my Zyprexa smashes my brain, it becomes really messy in my head and I find myself tired and depressed. but in the day, I am better than without meds… I dont know what ill do with this smashing brain effect???.. am I alone here?

yeah but what she will do, what she can do when the Zyprexa helps me in the day? switching meds again? ive tried 10 or 11 aps already, I am tired of all this…

or maybe its my Depakote… I take it too

nobody? you dont feel smashed like this? I even cant think for 4 hours after taking my pills. but after 4 hours, it goes away… briefly, my kick in from Zyprexa in the evening is more like a smashed brain than a kick in…

To be fair, they forced Zyprexa on me when I was agitated and psychotic as an inpatient and I felt like my head was literally smashed in.
I’m sorry you’re having difficulty with your meds, I’m also having difficulty with mine and it’s no fun.

yeah @stellaglow, at the end, the aps are a killers of dopamine, the happy thing whatever… its not so strange to feel smashed by them… but in the day I feel better and I dont think that ill be so fine with some another med. what are you on right now? you dont have anymore the smashing effect is that right?

I take Latuda, Trilafon, lithium, and Topamax. While I don’t feel the smashed effect, I am having a return of my symptoms despite being on two antipsychotics  And I feel a lot of anxiety which may or may not be caused by my meds.

yeah, Zyprexa is good for anxiety I find too. there was no other ap for me which worked on this but ive tried them for a brief time also… I am wondering if its not my Depakote who smashes me like this, there is this eventuality in fact… latuda we dont have it here still in the Balkans, its softer than Zyprexa I guess…

I feel smashed when I take my meds so I take them at bedtime and sleep through the gross feeling.

I try to distract myself from the bad side effects of meds. Focusing on them seems to make it worse. I use music and this forum.

no, its not working here by just not focusing. but ill try to lower the Depakote. there is eventuality that its from it and not from the Zyprexa… I pray that ill be fine  cause I have anger and irritability issues, the Depakote is good for them…

the dumbification is now lessened with lowest dose of Depakote but I still get quite negative after my pill of Zyprexa… I cant see the light for 4 hours after my Zyprexa in the evening, I am really depressed. idk what to do anymore, its a good med for me for the day

it still smashes my brain my meds in the evening… but in the day, i am better.i am so desperate for a relief that i continue like this… maybe ill start to take my meds right before sleep one day… but do you think that eventually with the time ill get used to this smashing effect? honestly i think that no cause its been 7 months already that its like this:( .
anybody who feels smashed like this? what did you do?

Zyprexa smashed my brain too. When I was on that drug I was mildly depressed, I craved sugar, and I slept a lot. You might ask your pdoc about Geodon and Seroquel. (Ziprasidone and Quetiapine.) They take care of my symptoms without the dullness.

@crimby, you think that the other aps can do the same good work in the day like Zyprexa does it? are they similar? ive tried them in the past. for Geodon, ive tried it just for 2 weeks so i am not sure what to think about it. but Seroquel is not for me- after one month on it, i start to be really bored by all the sounds around me, i become quinda of autistic, it wasn’t a good experience…

this morning i didn’t take my morning pills with coffee like i usually do. i take in the morning: Haldol, lithium, blood pressure med, pronanol and Cogentin. i felt so tired i was literally falling asleep as i was texting. but a couple cups of coffee and i felt that zip of caffeine.

I can’t say. People react to the med’s differently, but if the Zyprexa gets too bad you might bring it up with your pdoc.
