Today is Faye Dunaway’s 82nd birthday.
I’m honoring this legend with a thread.
She’s obviously very famous for per portrayal of Joan Crawford,
But she hates that,
So aside from “Mommie Dearest”,
What’s your favorite Faye Dunaway movie?
Mine is either “Network” or “Chinatown”.
Can’t decide.
Probably “Network”.

I’ll be completely honest with you though. I looked through a list of her movies, and I don’t believe I have ever seen any of her movies all the way through. I know who she is, her name is familiar, and even some of the movie names are familiar, but the majority are not. Most of her major roles appear to be before my time.
Wikipedia notes that she is very private and doesn’t make many public appearance or give out many interviews, so this is probably part of it as well.
I’m a big fan.
But I watch a lot of old movies.
I always liked her best in Bonnie and Clyde.
Also good in Three days of the Condor.
Has to be Bonnie and Clyde or Little Big Man. I saw them both when they first came out in the 60’s.
I used to have a huge crush on Faye Dunaway. She just has very distinctive features. Very sexy!
I think Network might be my fave with her in it. But she’s great in just about everything she’s acted in.
