i was supposed to call and make an appointment with a specialist for my back today and havent been able to do that cause ive been on hold so long

yeah i called the local office, thats where i was on hold for over 3.5hrs. then i called the main line and i think it transfered me back to the local office and started me back at the beginning. im in a 20 minute hold to talk to the first person again, which is what happened last time. then they transfered me which was the long hold

2hrs on hold so far today
Sorry you lost your food stamps and are on hold so long. Hope you can get this sorted out.
OMG. That’s poor of them. 
They’re supposed to cover you from date of application, if you qualify, whether it was processed or not. May be different where you are. Even if you don’t get them until it’s actually processed.
3.5 hrs now. Ive now spent over 7 hrs on hold in 2 days and they still havent answred!

Can you go to the office physically and tell them you can’t eat without your snap benefits and that you do qualify and you did give your paperwork in time?
