Maybe but what if they make me sit there for 5 or 6 hrs for the case worker. I may do that tomorrow

I called the specialist. The receptionist said she will show him the paperwork and he will decide if he can help me and if he says he can she will call me back. Im so sick of this world these days.

Pain started a year and a half ago with rectum and tailbone pain. Then it moved to SI joints and all across my low back.
And they haven’t seen you yet?! Please tell me someone has done an MRI at least.

I’m honestly flat out shocked. That seems like neglect. And how in the heck can the specialist determine whether or not they chelp you if they haven’t even examined an image? That is just crazy.

yep! im very worried and very pissed off about the whole thing. and its hard for me to work up the courage to see a dr and when i do nothing happens.

3 hrs 50 min on hold today and i finally talked to someone. it took her about 7 minutes to fix it.

I’m so, so sorry. A close relative to me has had an insane number of surgeries at the lumbar and cervical sections of his spine. I’ve had one on my lumbar, and I can still remember how intense the pain was while riding in a car or if you accidentally move just so and aggravate it. I do not envy you that, but I’m sending positive, feel-good thoughts your way, for what it’s worth. I hope you get those food stamps worked out as well. Sometimes, it just feels like life is taking a big sh*t on a person.

i found a new primary care dr. i called mine 2 days in a row to make an appointment and the receptionists dont even answer the phone. that was enough for me. im going to another town in a completely different medical center from now on. the health care where i live sucks. i have an appt tomorrow. i hope they do an MRI

Good luck! I’m so glad you got an appointment. Just a heads up- my doctors always start with an xray, then move into an MRI. Yours might do the same.
