Nightly headaches

I’ve been having nightly headaches they start around 6 to 6:30 and last anywhere from an hour or two to until I go to bed and get sleep and tv seems to make them worse. They are in the front on my head. Does anyone else get these? Does anyone know why I get these? I tried eucalyptus oil under my nose tonight and it helped some

I get these but to me it’s during the morning instead of nigh time. Funny thing is a woke up with a huge headache today.

Could be dehydration I woke up very late and usually eat around 9 or 10 am. I tried getting hydrated but it didn’t go away.

Could it be a stress headache? I’m not sure.

I would try upping up my water intake.

@anon19606225 I’m drinking more water and other liquids than I have in years!!! Any more and I might turn into a fish!

I’ve been experiencing something similar. While on Caplyta, every night I’d feel dizzy. It got to the point in which I began to worry it may be something serious. I went to the E.R. and they told me to discontinue the Caplyta. That seemed to improve the nightly dizziness for me.

Maybe you could speak with your mental health provider about a change in medication? The difference maybe is that for me it was dizziness and for you it is a headache. I do think stress contributes to those symptoms.

When did they start? Could be related to the changing seasons? I get spring headaches because of allergies, barometric pressure fluctuations, and temperature changes

I monitor my migraines using the RPM Migraine Monitor app. It is free, and very thorough. That’s how I discovered the pressure changes being a trigger for me.

It might be a tension headache so sometimes stretching or massaging your neck might help.

If it’s caused by allergies things like Claritin or a nasal spray may offer some relief

If it’s more of a migraine type headache I recommend a dark room and either a heating pad or an ice pack. Pulling on ear lobes can also help with pain sometimes. If painkillers aren’t working I recommend seeing a doctor who may be able to prescribe you something to help.

Headache/migraine triggers can be any number of things including: diet, sleep schedule, weather, allergies, eye strain, stress, etc. So it’s important to try and narrow down the possible causes.

Maybe it’s strain from electronics. Do u look at the tv or a device a lot?

I took caplyta for about 4 to 6 months before that began to occur in my case. I think it would be best to talk to your doctor. I hope you find comfort from your headaches. I know from experience side effects can be scary. Especially after reading all of them from a website. Dizziness, then suddenly may cause stroke, yikes. Unfortunately for me caplyta just wasn’t the right medication. I did feel very good on it for the first few months.

@schizophrenisaurus understood I have a PCP appointment coming up I’ll ask them… I always hurt before I take it though… Weird if you ask me

Try staying off devices for like 20 minutes every hour. Devices give me migraines and head aches. It might just be by the evening ur eyes have had enough to trigger a head ache.

Probably a mix of allergies and weather.

Changes in the weather, too much screen time, too much loud noise, and over-stimulation can all give me headache. Oh and stress too.
