Since I’m doing a lot better mentally this last few months, I’ve decided to be proactive about my physical health as well. On Monday I am joining the gym, I plan to go 3 times a week or possibly every second day. I did this some years ago and really enjoyed it, so I know that once I get started I will be motivated to continue. I’m also quitting smoking on Monday, have been to the doctor and she said my chest sounds fine and peak flow is good despite smoking since I was 14, which is good, and she has given me some nicotine patches and an inhalator. So bring on Monday!
Good luck in your new life!
Good to see you around and it readzzz that you have good plans for the new year.
To quit smoking can give you a lot of money to spend on other things that are more good for and too you.
Wishing you success with it.
Good luck in your new lifestyle. Sounds like a great new beginning!
I hear ya. I went off my diet over the holidays. Thankfully i didnt gain back too much.
I am back on it now. I often wonder if dieting is only a small commiment to better food, but a large one towards enduring.
As long as i stay returned, i think i will be ok.
Yeah good move. If you stay with it you won’t regret it.
Best thing you’ll ever do for your health is give up the smokes. Takes a bit to do but get help if you need it! Good luck!
Thanks all! I intend to stick to my plans, might need some support but I am determined. Good luck with the diet @macy
