I’ve recently met two new voices. Elizabeth “Lizzy”, and Toby. They’re not derogatory. Toby is a hyperactive little boy, so he gets annoying and is distracting. Lizzy is soothing sometimes, but tends to question my methods.
My pdoc upped my Abilify to 15mg today.
Anyone else met anyone new lately?
I have an additional woman’s voice I sometimes hear. The creepy thing is it sounds very similar to my dead grandma. Anyways this voice, on top of the man’s voice I hear, tends to get very upset when I smoke.
Occasionally voices come up, I tend to brush them off if they annoy me.
If they behave, they can hang around for awhile.
Do you know what they look like?
They never appear to me. Only auditory.
Oh, I was wondering because I can see all mine. Dunno if that’s typical.
I’ve seen many of mine, lately they run before I toss them out on their ear.
It’s good you’re able to get rid of them at will.
Ya, I think that is highly unusual from what I have read, to be able to control your voices at will. I think it’s awesome. I only have one voice and it is internal. I haven’t heard much from them at all lately. I am just stuck out in crazy-ville tryin’ to get a ticket home.
Any advice on kicking the voices out @Csummers ? Did you learn to this or do did it just happen? 
Their not all gone by any means, but what has changed is the amount of time I focus on them.
My attitude has shifted to just observing them, allowing them their say, then like a bad child, I refuse to reward bad behavior and physically walk away from them.
If they follow, I give them my best “Death Stare” for a few minutes, then return to the matter at hand.
Shame when I think about how much attention I’ve wasted on these fools.
It’s best to pretend they don’t exist at all, or simply listen, say -uh-huh, sure, sure, then resume doing something else-anything else but give them attention they so desperately feed off of.
Starve the little boogers out.
