I wrote a song the other day and inspired my neighbour to write a song as well, and i sat down at the keyboard and playued the song using some simple chords and it sounded pretty good but i have very low confidence, i wish i felt good enough to play, i feel like i’d really enjoy playing it if i could commit to it.
well done for trying new songs and good luck with it
Thanks @daydreamer . And good for you for composing! I composed and wrote songs for quite a few years. Wrote about 500 pieces. Made three albums. I’m totally over it now.
“moonlit sonata” is my go to late at night when I want to experience beauty…I knew someone else in high school that struggled learning the piece…he could play the first line or so…if you can play that much be proud of yourself.
Although I don’t talk about it much. I do have a musical background. My dad used to make money singing in restaurants and such. And I was in the choir from like the 6th grade til some college. I sang in 2 church choirs in my life.
No instruments though and I can’t read sheet music.
