New movie about schizophrenia

It’s called “Words on Bathroom Walls”… It is showing this Friday. I don’t know how good it is. I saw clips of it. It looks pretty good. The actor whose last name is Plummer seemed to do a lot of research about schizophrenia who plays Adam who has schizophrenia.

Looks like it might be a really well made film. :+1:

Looks like a feel good movie. Most people dont react well to finding out you have schizophrenia. Most, if not all, girls ive dated would run from me if they knew what i have.

Reality, its just random voices once and awhile with some delusions. Tho this one seems extreme and would scare the crap out of me if i visualized that vividly. All i saw, when i was off meds, were shadows walking the street that would disappear randomly. Usually only at night.

For Me in The Beginning (After The First Diagnosis), I Vividly Remember Laying in Bed Trying to Sleep During One Summer.

I Was Underneath a Sheet With Designs of One Coloured Flowers.

They Began to Form into Faces. They Would Get Happy, Then Sad, Then Angry, The Happy Again. And Cycle Endlessly.

It Didn’t Scare Me. But!, My Privacy Was Stolen. Where Did They Come From, (I Thought). What Do They Want?. What’s The Message?. Why Me?. Why Won’t They Go Away?. Are They Biblical Creatures?. Are They Aliens?. What’s The Hell is Going On?.

Needless to Say it Got Annoying.

I Didn’t Try to Communicate. I Was Jus Sincerely Confused.

Hopefully The Movie Addresses The Confusion of Hallucinations.

With a Bit of Intelligent, Hopeful Courage!.

I don’t think it is a feel good movie. He just happens to have a feel good life story. Sure they probably leave out some of his down times…not all down times though. It is based on a true story.

Looks pretty unrealistic to me the real truth about schiz is shocking.

Wow! Based on a true story? That’s freaking crazy

Also try and give THE SPARK a go, available upon Vimeo.

This put tears to my eyes.
Looks like a good film!

@Loke @Jake.

Google says it’s not based on a true story. I was disappointed upon reading that too…

The actor supposedly did a lot of research for the movie so perhaps it is very true to life.

I’m sorry, it seemed like a true story. I just assumed it was a true story. I’m still excited to watch it.
