I watched the video, no particular new revelations. Mostly talked about risk factors for schizophrenia; genetics, marijuana, life-stresses. Didn’t talk about any new treatments or anything new and exciting in the field of medicine except that we found that genetics makes one more predisposed to get sz, not a big surprise there.
It kinda pissed me off that he kept referring to sz as just “more severe psychosis” cuz if it was that we wouldn’t have negative symptoms when we’re not psychotic. It’s a lot more than just severe psychosis.
