Neuroendocrine tumour

I know the laws are different in my country vs yours, but over here that is not malpractice if the doctor believes the issue to be non-symptomatic. I ran into the same frustrating experience with my fibroid. The doc who found it didn’t tell me it existed, because he thought it was not relevant to my symptoms. The only reason I knew it existed was because the ultrasound tech accidentally told me it was there.

The problem we’re having here is that he entire oncology system is overwhelmed so we have people being diagnosed an then passing away without receiving treatment.

The treatment is generally good once you get past the gatekeepers and into the system, but it is getting their attention and getting admitted. And, yeah, if you’re older you fall down the priority list for treatment.

Thanks everyone. I’m trying to be rational and sensible about this, but it isn’t easy.
