Just wanted to let everyone know tomorrow I go in for my thyroid cancer testing and hope it gets drained out some…I’m overly anxious…I’ve seen the appointment doesn’t seem to consist of much but I don’t always have the best of luck, usually if something can go wrong it does with me. But in case something happens and I’m not on I just wanted to give a heads up.

Are they going to do a needle biopsy (or needle aspiration if there’s fluid present)?

TODAY…well tech. nothing really happened today, we went to the hospital and I had my throat scanned, and the doctor talked to me about what’s going on. They didn’t know if it was cancer or not, but it looks like I have to have surgery to remove at least the extremely swollen part of my thyroid before it gets any bigger. I’m not sure when this will happen, I’m supposed to get a call tomorrow and set up an appointment. There really isn’t any other options at this point because it is mass and not liquid. Anyway, that’s all I know at this point. Today has been long and tiring so I can’t say much else but I wanted to let everyone know what happened.

@sohare1981 Thanks for checking in and updating us. It sounds like a pretty stressful day. Try to pamper yourself a little tonight and get some rest.
