In crisis, thinking intrusive thoughts but not necessarily mine, seeing pictures I don’t want to see, need help!!!
Is there anything that usually helps you? Does distraction work for you?
Do you have a prn med like clonazepam or ativan?
Imagine firing a marshmallow, drink umbrella, or non dangerous object into the air and watch it slowly rise up into the clouds and on into outer space. Repeat
You seem to be in constant distress. You never seem to want to tell your doctor about it.
If it becomes an emergency please visit your nearest emergency department and then they can help you find a hospital. I really don’t know what else to say I’m bad at this sorry.
I do tell my doctor but this happens frequently sometimes but I panic when I see and hear these things and other people can see these thoughts and hear them. But I think
someone is doing this to me. I have people think I’m a racist, whore but I’m not. I need help.
What dose of clozapine are you on? I recently increased my dose of abilify and it made my life a bit easier. Can you talk about a dose increase with your doctor? See what they say.
Also do you have anything to calm you down when this happens? Like a benzo?
That was happening to me last night, I had to take klonopin I’m not sure what else to say. Sometimes it helps me to observe them as though I’m a scientist. Disconnected. Thinking this is interesting what could it mean? Without judgement.
What were you going thru @Anna? How do you deal with it? Take care.
Your doctor is your friend right now @see121 - much love to you <3
You need to try to remember that it is all in your head.
Nobody else can see nor hear your thoughts, and nobody can place thoughts in your head. It’s your imagination is running wild, and it’s taking you with it.
Try not to panic, and try to think of something else even though I know it’s hard. I find it helps me to think of funny scenes from movies I like, like that scene from the second Ace Ventura film where he comes out of the butt of a fake rhino.
How are you doing today? Are you feeling the same? I hope you’re doing ok. I take ativan when things get bad. I can relate to the craziness. Get extra help if you need to. Maybe a med review would help. Tell your doc you are having hard times. Have you recently started new meds or semi recently.? It can take a while for meds to really work sometimes like months. It is also a struggle to find the right combination and doses. Call your local mental health crisis line if there is one and you think it’d help.
Bizarre intrusive scenes & images that are just…disturbing. Also come along w emotional roller coaster, a lot of feelings that confuse me that I don’t understand. It’s really nerve wracking. I mentioned how I dealt w it in my previous comment.
