yep. thats a problem with mine…they like to rip them off eachother. so I also ordered to collars that have clips that hold the flea collar underneith the real collar…hopefully that will work

they are. they are so wild they exhaust and worry me. i love them so much but they are the reason i think i will not get any more dogs after them haha

the one i bought on amazon i decided not to use for my dog as the complains in reviews of dog getting rashes and bad skin irritation issues etc also the same brand hartz they say the flea and tick shampoo they make has killed peoples pets,

I stuck my dog’s flea collar under his harness. It was invisible from the outside.

I use simparica trio it works for flea ticks and intestinal parasites 30 bucks for 1 that does it all

We don’t really have a lot of ticks around here but in the wooded areas there are some. When I was in the Marines in Quantico, Virginia we spent a lot of time in the field and I got them on me all the time but the dogs never had a problem with them just being in the grass.
I use Advantage multi. You have to get it from the vet because it prevents heart worms also and they don’t have to eat it. We have a lot of fleas here in Louisiana and my dogs and cats never have fleas. You only have to apply it once a month.
You have to treat for heart worms also so it just makes sense and now the vet has a generic so it’s a little cheaper. I go get all my pets one every payday. On the first. It’s easy to remember.

I ended up getting frontline plus today and putting it on my dogs. About 7 hours later one of them started glup swallowing uncontrollably. So i quickly gave them both a bath and washed it off with Dawn soap. They just do not seem to tolerate flea medicine well. One of them had a reaction before to a different flea medicine. Guess im screwed. And now im worried about them and hoping they will be okay with no further reactions to this stuff after i washed it off.
