PC…I’ve been a pc gamer since 1995 or there abouts. Bought consoles for my little brothers but it’s always been pc gaming for me. Lots of great memories.

Where it gets good is where you can help others. Be kind and help people with your knowledge of what you go through. It’s late night US and early European. Not many Aussies online so don’t be discouraged…

Okay here goes…
I played Nintendo as a boy. I switched to Microsoft in the 360 days and stuck with them hard. Then for the next gen I picked PS4 because they were more backwards compatible initially. This gen, though, I’m switching to Xbox Series X. I bought an Xbox One X last Christmas because I wanted console mods for Skyrim and Fallout 4, and a system to play on my 4K TV. This next gen I’m going all-in on Xbox. They had this promotion where you can convert all your Xbox Live Gold time to Xbox Gamepass Ultimate, so I bought 3 years of Xbox Live Gold (3 years is the limit) and converted it to Gamepass via the 1$ promotion.
I am hoping to increase my Xbox gamerscore until I hit 100k. Also looking forward to Obsidian’s next big Skyrim-esque RPG called Avowed. I will probably buy a PS5 at some point just for exclusives, but will play every multiplatform game on Xbox. I think they are the better system this time around. They have better system specs everywhere except one important area: SSD loading times. The PS5 has twice the speed of Xbox Series X when it comes to SSD load times. Xbox has a faster CPU and a better GPU. I will play Xbox Series X for every multiplat game and only boot up my PS5 for Playstation exclusives.
The big draw for Series X is backwards compatibility. I’ll be playing Fable, Final Fantasy: Lightning Returns, and others… many of which will have patches that upgrade the resolution/FPS to a higher value in the next generation of consoles.
Also don’t think you’re not liked on this website, we are very accepting people and we like you. I don’t want you to feel like you don’t belong here because you definitely do. I hope you find this website helpful and we’ll all do whatever we can to make you feel welcome because that’s what the site is for. You’re a great person and you deserve the best treatment wherever you go.

I have a certain fondness for the Nintendo DS, the console that defined my childhood in terms of gaming. My favorite console these days is actually the 3DS, lol, so my tastes haven’t evolved much.

My current consoles are the Nintendo Switch and PS4.
I’ve had many consoles from early Nintendo, Sega Saturn and 3DO, Xbox 360, and a few PC games.
I’ve enjoyed mostly every console I had with the exception of Nintendo Wii. I liked what Nintendo was trying to do by being innovative but the market just wasn’t ready. As a side note I did like my Xbox 360 while it worked but then the hardware issues started happening so that soured me on Xbox.
Oh and try not to worry too much on getting replies or even likes. Even though this is an internet forum sometimes it can take a while for folks to warm up to you. Please keep participating and share your viewpoints and experiences when possible.

I played 2 players on a zx spectrum back in the 80s at school. That is four hands playing on a tiny computer in the dark after lights out at the same time.
Those were the early days of computing and gaming. It was fun even then.

Is it good? I have Gears of War 4 on PC but its too long to finish, I gave up after playing for months. Game is 130Gb.
Under 10 y.o. it was Nintendo. After 10 y.o. its PC. I have a good gaming PC, I play at 4K max graphics.

at first it suck because roster was small after the updates, it got better. Is worth the try, its going to be 120fps on xbox series x and 4k. im buying a 4k tv for that reason.
