I saw a commercial about creamation and urns and for the last hour I’ve been finding the cheapest plans so my kids don’t have to worry when the time comes.
That’s a good idea. I already bought my plot and plaque which is in the cemetery right next to my son’s plot.
I’ve looked into things like that, too. It’s not so weird.
My response for what to do to me when im gone.
Hell, my will says to cremate me and put me in a paper bag and set me on the floor in a corner of the garage. And every year on my birthday carry me on a walk around the block.
I just want each kid to have a small necklace urn and the rest scattered on the water of a nearby lake. Small funeral in my families church.
I don’t want to die with my bedroom such a mess so I’ve got awhile

I’ve learned over and over the old saying, “You get what you pay for.”
The cheapest ain’t always the best. I don’t know if it’s true in this case but if you’re going to be sitting in an urn on the mantle in your kids home for 40+ years you want it to be a nice one.
I just want these small necklaces/chains for them to keep. No need for another urn. Just something to dump into the lake
That’s a good idea @FatMama.
I already have a plot set up.
I’ll be buried next to my Mom and Dad when it’s time.
To be honest I think I’m dying now.
My appetite has decreased greatly and I’m losing weight rapidly.
I’m afraid to have my stool tested.
I’m afraid that they are going to find Cancer.
That’s a scary feeling I’m sure. I hope you get answers soon. ((Hugs))
Thanks @FatMama
Get tested. You may be afraid but wouldn’t you want to know if it is cancer? If you are unlucky enough to have cancer you will have a better chance of surviving it if they catch it early and start treating it right away. I had a couple of cancer scares myself but they turned out to be something else. It was such a relief to get tested and get the results.
Thanks @77nick77 I’m sure you are right.
