I use depakote 1000mg ER every day for mood and just recently got test result back as 28.85 µg/mL with normal range being 50 to 125 µg/mL.
Should I be worried since it has gone down every time I have had test for it? Last time more than year ago it was 60 µg/mL with different APs.
I have my pdoc appointment the 14th of this month.
My Depakote levels were in the 80s.
28 is low.
You might need to have your Depakote dose increased.
1000mg is on the low side.
I take 1500mg.
