In this summer already three people whom I have known have died. I came back from the USA in 2002 and in these 19 years 56 people whom I have known have died. Our lives are important and hopefully we live as long as possible.
I’m sorry your Aunt died. You’ve had a lot of loss. Recently my sister has had a lot of loss. It’s starting to get to her and she’s forming some unusual beliefs around it. I told her I don’t buy into any of that nonsense, it’s just the luck of the draw. And we’re getting older, we’re going to start losing people.
She keeps seeing the number 11 and she thinks it’s related to that and has something to do with numerology or some weird crap. I told her I can’t afford to buy into that kind of thinking.
Sorry man, that’s rough.

She sounds like a wonderful woman if she wrote you letters over many years.

Condolences about your aunt. It was interesting to have a sz uncle until I realized how sad his life was and how I was heading down the same path.
She had sz for a long time. The last years of her life she was in the care facility. We were not very close, but she sent me letters sometimes. Her letters were sometimes quite strange. She moved to Sweden when she was young as did so many other Finns at those times. I have many relatives in Sweden.
Im so sorry for your loss. I lost my grandparents last year…
