My sister doesn't want me to be vegan

My sister doesn’t want me to be vegan anymore. She said it was for my mental health but I don’t want to start eating meat or fish. What do you reccomend? I have been vegan for 3 months.

It’s a tough choice. I was vegan for two years back in 2009. I don’t subscribe to that lifestyle anymore. I love my dairy and meat! :face_with_monocle: :grimacing:

It can be easy to get malnourished as a vegan, and that can impact mental health. Some of that depends on what you choose to eat, but some of it also just depends on your body and how it breaks down nutrients. Some people cannot be healthy on a vegan diet no matter how hard they try. If your sister is someone whose judgment you trust, you might want to consult with a nutritionist, or see your doctor to check that you have the right nutrients in your body.

I virtually go vegan every Wed/Fri and during fasting seasons.

Its your choice what you eat. Just do what you want!

If going full vegan you’ll want to supplement with creatine. It’s proven that vegans take a mild cognitive hit without enough creatine in their diet.
