My roommate is so rude

I think he has severe mental illness. Not trying to.make excuses because it’s unfair how he’s done me but I really don’t think he’s doing intentionally.

It’s made cleaning my own space really hard. I’ve been working on that slowly but I still feel trapped in a hole with it :frowning: I am definitely overwhelmed by how much is left to do and I’ve already spent so much time on it.

Yeah, but is that an excuse to mess up someone else’s house? I can understand that you have sympathy for him since isn’t he a friend? But it’s not your fault he’s addicted and if he’s addicted he should take steps to do something about his addiction. I’ve had several friends take advantage of me, if they don’t care enough about me to treat me fairly, why should I care about them? Just a couple years ago I used to lend a “friend” $20 or $40 when he needed it. Then he tried to con me out of lending him $800 when he knows I’m just a janitor and have no extra money. He had no job and was living in a group home ten miles away. When I didn’t let him con me into lending him the money he never spoke to me again. Good riddance. I got clean and sober to get away from people like him. If you want to make excuses for your friend, continue living in a pig sty and prepare to lose more money.

I’m definitely getting him out of here. I just don’t know if I can afford the filing fee this month, I still haven’t gotten my ssdi first check.

Good riddance. Without him you’ll have way less stress.
