I’m having a hard time typing this. TRIGGER WARNING.

i went to see my doctor practice as the date said and time. Anyway I want to know if she was sexually assaulting me. She walked forward saying something and had her crotch in my face. I turned to look at her watch. I was very uncomfortable. She perched up to the bed they use for patients.

She started putting her fingers through her hair talking to the other employee that was in there. I’m not going back to her. I was very angry. She had a witness.

Sounds very inappropriate and I think you are justified to be angry.

I don’t think being eye level with someone’s crotch counts as sexual assault. I doubt she meant to do that. And sittong on a patient bed is sexual assault…how? Or running fingers through her hair?

None of that makes sense. I mean, my dentist had to stand over me to pull out some teeth and his crotch was right in my face, but what was he supposed to do? There was literally no other place for him to move and it isn’t like you can remove the groin and put it on a shelf

If she had another witness in the room, then this would be very difficult to explain.

I think, in general, if you think something is wrong then something is wrong. It may not be exactly what you think but I think something is wrong.

There was this very mean nurse who deliberately sat on my bed in the ER psych ward .
She said “I hope you don’t mind me sitting on your bed”

It was highly inappropriate but it wasn’t considered sexual harassment

I recently got my teeth pulled and my dentist breast would bump into my shoulders.

It was uncomfortable but completely not sexual.

If you feel it was intentional, you should file a complaint so it doesn’t happen to someone else. Or for your own closure.

I’m sorry @roxanna it sounds like it was hard for you, it may not have been meant to be sexual but I understand why it can be that way either way it sounds wrong and I’m sorry it happened to you.
