My prolactin is 2042

I was on it for at least 3 months…

Yeah she said it could take 12 months. I will have to go for routine blood tests to see if the dose needs increasing and see if it’s working. Did you switch medications ?

No way really!? Geez, maybe my doc should’ve given it more time?? I did switch meds eventually because of the lactation but I am still lactating on the new one… I think I’m just prone to lactation, it’s been bad with almost every drug.

I am on invega and my prolactin is high too but not that high as urs …and my dose is 159mg three weekly …what about ur dose ?

I’m on 100mg once a month. I can’t wait until something is done about this prolactin.

I don’t want to scare you but there could very well be an issue with your pituitary gland.

Those are extremely high numbers.

Woah, that is really high! I would recommend trying the medicine, but I would ask your doctor to see if it is ok to take it with ap.

Just to make sure, did you have an epileptic seizure? When I had my first seizure, I had a blood test that measured that. Sometimes an epileptic seizure elevates the prolactin levels.

Sending you love!

They are worried about mine as a male at a level of 41, I wish I had the paper results so I knew the units I’m in but yours sounds high as everyone is saying.

Keep us updated, I have been on Abilify 10mg for 2 years as well as Invega 9mg oral and that was my latest level, my next steps are seeing an endocrinologist.

You probably need an MRI of your pituitary gland. I had one for high prolactin
