I had that same problem with Latuda, as well as other meds like it. It’s not dangerous. Just annoying. Pdoc will likely want a prolactin test.

Yes, I had this issue on risperidone. It means your prolactin levels are far too high. I was told staying on a med that gives this side effect could greatly increase your chance of developing breast cancer by my prescriber who took me off it right away.Switch if you can.

Oh my god…but almost no other ap work for me it seems ive had unbearable side effects with abilify, geodon, and seroquel. I’m really worried now. My aunt died from breast cancer so it is hereditary. Oh my god

Definitely tell your doctor right away. High prolactin levels can be a problem.

Four APs isn’t really too many. There are still dozens out there. You’ll find one that works well without too many side effects.

If you add on aripiprazole at a low-medium dose it will decrease your prolactin. Thats an option if you dont want to stop latuda.

My prolactin level was to high on Geodon, but I never experienced lactation.
They suspected a pituitary tumor and I had an MRI, but they ruled it out.

Have you tried olanzapine?

No I haven’t. Does it work for you? I got a blood test and I guess my prolactin levels were too high because my doctor called me back on it. I have to have an appointment soon.
