My 23 year old is super sick. She thinks she has Covid and her lungs are in tons of pain. I’m going to shower when my husband is done in the bathroom, go and get N95 respirator masks and pick her up to take her to urgent care. If she seems like she needs the emergency room I’ll take her there instead. She’s with her dad and they’re talking right now so I’m hoping he’d have the sense to take her himself now if she needs the emergency room though.
Did she have her vaccinations?
That should help.
Yes. She’s vaccinated
Okay. If it’s Covid and given her age and vaccinations, she has the odds in her favor.
I do feel for her pain right now.
Yeah. I’m thinking she should be ok but I am concerned because of how she described her lungs hurting so much.
I hope she’s ok @LilyoftheValley. That’s scary. I’m glad you’re taking her to get help.
Thanks @HollyHobbie . Like I said she’s with her dad so if there’s an emergency he should be able to tell so I’ve got some time to get ready, eat, pick up the respirator masks and take her. I need to be careful because of my lung issues
I’m so sorry she’s sick. Anything in your lungs is miserable.
We’ve started keeping N95s around. My youngest still wears masks to school, so they are better for her than fabric masks if she’s worried about germs. I keep a box in my car and one by the door. They are MUCH more affordable now than they had been there for a while. I get these on Amazon in 20 or 50 packs.
Oh wow. Those are much more affordable now. I think next paycheck I’ll get some. Thanks!
I’m sorry it doesn’t help you right now.

My daughter tested negative for both covid and flu. They think she has a bad cold that triggered her asthma. They gave her an inhaler and her breathing was instantly better. She just needs to take it easy for a while. We rescheduled Mother’s Day for next weekend
Thank goodness!
That’s a relief! I’m so glad she’s okay
I’m glad she doesn’t have Covid or the flu!
Oh that’s good news but I’m sorry she’s been struggling I hope she feels better soon.
Thanks @Twialine @anon25873142 @Wave
I am so glad to hear it. I’m also sorry her asthma is aggravating her. I hope she feels better soon.
shew…glad that’s fixed…sorry for you being worried.
Wishing her a quick recovery.
